Aldeburgh Beach

Attractive sand and shingle beach. Aldeburgh's charm as a quintessential seaside town is thanks to this characterful beach. It is notable for its flat expanses of pebbles and its quirky buildings and structures. Pastel-coloured 19th Century holiday villas line the promenade to the west and to the east there are fishermen's huts. The beach is also home to Maggi Hambling's 'Scallop' sculpture.
