Leiston Abbey

Monastic ruins dating back to 1182. Situated in the town of Leiston, not far from the East coast, the abbey can be found in the middle of peaceful, open fields. The ruins include the 16th century gatehouse - with its octagonal brick turret - the cloister, and the abbey church.
