Anglo-Saxon royal burial site. This impressive site is based on a 255 acre estate, with far-reaching views over the river Deben and discoveries that date back to the 6th and 7th centuries. The main features are the haunting burial mounds and the museum exhibition that includes a reconstruction of a ship burial chamber and a wealth of original and replica artefacts.
