16th century timber-framed building. Now the home of the Aldeburgh Museum, the hall it originally contained six small shops on the ground floor and a large meeting chamber on the first floor for meetings of the town council. It is one of the best preserved buildings of its kind, with attractive, exposed red brick in between the bold timber frames.
