Dunwich Heath

Area of coastal lowland heath just south of Dunwich village. This is a rare and unique wildlife habitat, home to various species of interesting birds, as well as a picturesque natural landscape. From July to September the heath is covered in vibrant, pink and purple heather and yellow gorse. It is in an area of natural beauty and is owned by the National Trust.
