Fen Alder Carr Nature Reserve

Secluded, council-owned nature reserve in the heart of Gipping Valley. Fen Alder Carr is predominantly Alder Carr woodland covering 1.79 ha. The prominent features on site include a rough grass meadow, an area of fen wetland, a pond and a network of defunct ditches crossing the reserve. A boardwalk runs throughout the site.
